Fall species action
« on: November 07, 2017, 06:44:44 AM »
This has been the warmest and most beautiful fall i've seen in years. The wind well thats is another story. Some of my best fishing ever is on these days and knowing where to hit them up. I've had quite an adventure chasing them with  with different company on hand. Joe and Rene i've posted with a few beauties they caught. Rene borrowed my other hobie and chased down pannies and a ski. While Joe was out in one of my fav spot for walleye/cats/drum/and the infamous sturgeon area. All these fish can be nicely targeted on a few different techniques. No live bait and the sturgeon was a bonus for Joe of all people having caught them in New Brunswick. We did not target them due to no season but they do get caught. And i caught mine nearly the same spot 2 years ago. Great bonus for the guys who still want to fish out the season here.

Spent a little bit of time chasing some big sm and lm bass amongst the other stuff. Too bad many of those bass couldnt make it to kwars due to filled up 🤦‍♂️. Prefer the variety vrs just bass.  Will try to post a few more pics. Really looking forward to catching the pannies/crappie and perhaps a few ski. That spot where Rene is in picture is the most popular spot shortly. But food fish 🐟 vrs slime fish 🐟 and id take the food ones. 🤗😎

This has been the warmest and most beautiful fall i've seen in years.

:(

Tried to go fishing in -10 last weekend and even our big lakes were mostly frozen...

I miss being able to keep walleye. Might have to go visit family in SK.

Got fresh walleye fillets in the fridge, from yesterday ( 21" and a 24" ), looking forward to it.  :)

Don't you have a spot that doesn't freeze ?
