Great to see a bunch of Canadian teams inching up the Worldwide Freshwater Team
Standings. Gonna be a close one, still early, and bet homebrew is anxious for some support.  ;)

Yes there have been a few of us capitalizing on living close to the border and enjoying the open Bass Season in both NY and Michigan.  I am surprised that no one has gone to the Espanola area to try the newly opened Bass season.

I assume we are all going to act like adults this year when it comes to Kayak Wars discussions...
It got out of hand last year, and turned some folks away from talking about it on here. I wont have that again.

We really enjoy the New York early season bass fishing!  Lots of opportunity and less than 2 hours for us!  Locally I have only had one carp to post. (Not counting my rock bass from the weekend)

I have been going after the other species as well, only caught a few short fish and the odd oos.  Will keep trying though  :)

I respect your opinion that you like to fish in the Canadian Division but we compete in a North American Freshwater Point Distribution.  Some of us live on the border and  can enter US water from our home or it is easier for us to find inland lakes across the border than from here in Southwestern Ontario where the closest inland lake or river is 3 hours.

Calling the US anglers names is not showing good sportsmanship and makes the rest of us Canadians look like a bunch of whining babies.  As John said in an earlier post, we went through this BS last year, why does it need to be re-hashed.  Those are the kind of posts that have members leaving this forum and the traffic declines always right after.

If you haven't anything positive to say keep your comments to yourself.

I'm with Pikecreek and Flyfisher. It's just fishing guys. International borders, points, My measuring board is bigger than your measuring board.... In the end we're all having some fun catching fish and using Kayakwars as a means of showing off a little. Keep it fun, show some respect for the rest of the guys around you that are also having a little fun, and in the end we'll all have a better time doing it.

Now let's see what we can do to catch those Border guys Flash... I've got the Hobie on the roof of the car now, just got to put some hours in making a living first and then I'll be on the water :)

Heres the thing. If its within the rules of the event then its fair game.
If "you" have an issue with something, and you think its underhanded or cheating, then you post it on the Kayak Wars system.
The discussion on here is very welcomed, and encouraged, but singling people out for playing within the rules/parameters of the event will not be tolerated.  Im going to be pruning this thread to remove the crap comments, and that will be the end of that.  I see more of the crap comments, and that person gets removed from the forum, no negotiation.
